yeap...and crawling on muddy terrains,doing pushups in the mud, sleeping with bugs and insects..

but then we men have a crucial advantage: we can pee standing up. That's quite a plus cos it means you can pee almost anytime, anywhere, without any more prep than undoing a fly.

men has a much higher tolerance threshold. I suppose the army helped a bit. After you've slept on a muddy jungle floor with nothing over your head and rain falling onto your face and worn the same pair of underwear for 10 days at a stretch, there's not much accoms you can't take, really

and yet i still hear from my friend who's a regular of wussy guys who freak out during their field trips; naturally these are the odd ones out.

I don’t think Vietnam is considered a developed country

But I’m not so bad la. At least I can do things like Glacier walk in New Zealand and hike up a mountain path

See the thing is that hiking and stuff I can do but they need a nice path :x because if they don’t, I will really end up killing myself

Latest one was at Blue Mountains whereby climbing stairs is a dangerous past time for me to :x

no one i know of can beat my sis. she absolutely refuses to stay in anything other than a 4* and up accomodation and quote my BIL "she must go to developed countries only". e.g. walking on the streets of vietnam.

she doesn't head that way. in fact she doesn't even patronise hawker stalls! or at least not in the last coupla years.

guess what...eg in melbourne or any city she's holidaying in, she stays in westin etc. india was taj or the one next door (i can't remember).

depends on the unit I suppose. We never had such people where I was from. One of the tricks in BMT for us was to be made to put on your wet and thoroughly muddy uniforms again after you're clean and nicely showered after a long day in the field ... no strawberry soldiers there.

but anyway from your descriptions, she appears to be more of a traveller/ likes to visit places. rather than outdoor in terms of woods/ fishing kind.
